Week of 3/30

We missed a week getting the blog updated, been sick, busy, etc.  But Richard has been doing great.  He may not have a lot to say, but what he says tells us he is doing great.

March 23rd

Hello Everyone

This week has been great! We had interviews with President and Sister Nilsen this week and Sister Nilsen asked me to let you know that she misses talking to you. Also, I wore the Jerry Garcia tie and President loved it.

Also, yesterday was stake conference and Josh spoke and told his conversion story. When he got up to speak, he mentioned that he had completely forgotten what his baptismal date was and I tapped on his wife's shoulder and reminded her that it was December 10th. It was just as powerful as it was when I first heard it.

Other than that, this week has not had much excitement going on and I hope to hear from you soon.

Love,

Week 3/30

 Hello Everybody,

This week I was transferred to Marion Ohio.

My new companion is Elder Platte from Sacramento California. Marion is a small branch of about 70-90 active members and covers Kenton, upper Sandusky, and MT. Gilead. I have come to really dislike packing and trying to cram all you have into 3 suitcases. The area out here is nice and of the members that I have met so far, they all seem really nice. The Branch President's name is President Titenser and he is really awesome. My first day hear, we dug holes for him to plant some trees in. We might be going back soon to help him finish it. Elder Turner was transferred into my Zone as a new Zone Leader.

I will let you all know how things are going as I settle into things hear in a new area in a new part of Ohio and learn how to work in a Branch. Love you all and hope you all enjoy the week.
